Chamber Music Milwaukee: Music in the Times of War

Chamber Music Milwaukee presents a concert exploring the theme of music in times of war, including works connected to the Holocaust. As part of Violins of Hope: Wisconsin, presented by Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Jamie Hofman, Director of UWM String Academy, will perform on one of the historic violins from the collection.

The concert will be preceded by a talk from Jewish educator Jody Hirsh, who will share historical context about the featured violin and its remarkable journey.
