Giselle

Milwaukee Ballet presents Michael Pink’s Giselle, one of ballet’s most beloved stories. In this powerful tale of love and betrayal, the vulnerable Giselle falls for Albrecht, a betrothed man on the opposite side of the conflict tearing her community apart. Pink resets this tragedy into the dark period of wartime 1940s, asking powerful questions about the need for forgiveness and the transcendence of love amongst unimaginable horrors.
This production is presented in connection with Violins of Hope: Wisconsin, presented by Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra.
