Echoes of Hope
The Importance of Remembering…
A necessity of hope and light in the darkest of times, this dance concert features stories of courage and resistance as we remember and reflect upon memories through movement. We honor the work of Jewish artists and musicians in collaboration with Violins of Hope: Wisconsin, presented by Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Danceworks Performance MKE presents world premiere works that embody stories of humanity through the lens of the Holocaust. This performance features artists from Danceworks Professional, Intergenerational, Youth, and Apprentice companies, and also welcomes the Wisconsin International Orchestra and musician Allen Russell to the stage.
Each performance will be followed by a 20-minute talkback.
