Play Your Part

Join MYSO for Play Your Part 2025, featuring performances from every MYSO ensemble on two main stages over two days: three symphony orchestras, seven string orchestras, two wind ensembles, two flute choirs, numerous jazz combos, and two steel bands.

As part of Violins of Hope-Wisconsin, MYSO pays tribute to the rich cultural legacy of Jewish composers and the profound stories of the instruments that have endured across generations. As we honor the individuals who once played these violins—and the lives, identities, and history they represent—we invite you to experience music as a powerful force for connection and remembrance.

This thoughtfully curated program features works by Jewish composers and pieces inspired by Jewish themes, interwoven with music that speaks to universal ideals of hope, peace, and the human spirit.

Through music, we remember. Through music, we connect. Through music, we look toward a future shaped by compassion.

Admission is free. This is a no-tickets-required open house event.
