The University of Wisconsin La Crosse Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Martin Gaines, presents David Avshalomov’s poignant Elegy as part of Violins of Hope: Wisconsin, presented by Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra — a powerful tribute honoring Holocaust survivors through restored instruments that once endured the darkness of that era.
