Green Bay Ave.\, Glendale \nPresented as part of Violins of Hope: Wisconsin\, presented by Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO)\, this evening weaves music\, memory\, and community storytelling. \nEnjoy an intimate performance of Ernest Bloch’s Baal Shem with UWM’s Dr. Bernard Zinck on a Violin of Hope and UWM’s (and CBINT’s) Katherine Turner on piano. These restored instruments—rescued from the Holocaust—carry voices and histories that resonate powerfully in live performance. \nAfter the music\, share a light dinner and an interactive program focused on personal stories of legacy and renewal. Guests are invited to bring a meaningful Jewish object from home and share its story as we explore how artifacts\, memories\, and music help us reclaim the quieter parts of our Jewish lives. \n$10 program and dinner fee.
